What You Will Do
As one of our AECO Sales Enablement Managers, you will collaborate closely with leaders across the go-to-market organization to increase productivity across the sales teams, both direct and indirect. Enablement priorities will closely align to business initiatives and objectives of AECO, while also adapting to the needs of the specific sales teams you serve. You will lead a team of sales enablement professionals focused on developing our internal certification programs, extending best practices and product knowledge across and into the organization. You’ll be a leader on a team that is innovative, collaborative, influential, and fun!
- Sales Enablement: Lead strategies to increase productivity and effectiveness of the direct and indirect sales teams. Collaborate with sales leaders to identify enablement needs and implement tailored solutions that align with business goals.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leaders across product marketing, marketing, sales operations and sales to establish effective and scalable go-to-market processes and create alignment for product and industry certification programs and enablement. Ensure enablement aligns to business objectives and is designed for optimal learning and impact.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, grow and develop a US-based team who leverage and adapt best practices to meet the needs of their target audience.
- Coach & Instruct: Partner closely with sales leaders to identify and prioritize enablement aligned to sales goals and seller competencies. Provide follow-through and coaching to ensure best practices take hold. Provide training as an instructor and coach in topics such as sales skills and methodology.
- Needs Analysis & Evaluation: Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team. Assess needs and identify solutions to drive sales performance. Establish key performance indicators and quantify effectiveness of sales process and sales enablement programs. Leverage sales enablement tools to gain insights and influence actions that drive sales performance
- Collaborate: Partner closely with sales operations and enablement colleagues to leverage and adopt existing programs, processes, tools, and best practices to expedite availability and enable success of the Americas sales teams. This includes proactively identifying sales gaps and opportunities and implementing enablement solutions and programs to improve our sales teams performance.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Adult Education, Instructional Systems Design, or related discipline plus work experience in a sales--related role with a hardware or software company.
- Ability to effectively deliver training.
- Experience partnering with teams to assess, design, and deliver learning solutions.
- Experience independently interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively lead and implement learning initiatives.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales operations, sales enablement or learning and development experience with a software company, managing a team including interviewing and hiring.
- Experience designing and implementing enablement initiatives to build sales skills; demonstrated knowledge of needs analysis and creating learning programs to address needs.
- Demonstrated success leading and executing sales enablement initiatives for both direct and indirect sales channels.
- Preferred experience as an administrator of learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms; experience using CRM management systems, Salesforce preferred
- Experience with a structured sales methodology, preferably Challenger Sales methodology or MEDDPICC.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.
Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
