Implement Feedback And Complaints Mechanisms:
This activity involves establishing and maintaining effective channels for beneficiaries to provide feedback and lodge complaints regarding the Emergency Food and Cash Assistance Program. This includes setting up CHD, suggestion boxes, hotlines, and digital platforms, ensuring that all feedback is collected promptly and addressed in a timely manner. The goal is to enhance transparency, build trust with beneficiaries, and improve overall program responsiveness.
Conduct Community Awareness and Training Sessions This activity focuses on organizing and facilitating training sessions for community members and staff to raise awareness about the accountability principles and procedures of the JEOP Program. These sessions aim to educate participants on how to access assistance, provide feedback, and engage with the program effectively.
Monitor and Evaluate Accountability Processes: This activity involves regularly assessing the effectiveness of the feedback and complaints mechanisms established for the JEOP Food and Cash Assistance Program. It includes collecting and analyzing data on feedback trends, beneficiary satisfaction, and response times. The goal is to identify areas for improvement, ensure that accountability measures are functioning as intended, and provide actionable insights that enhance program responsiveness and service delivery.
Report and Document Findings: This activity entails preparing comprehensive reports on the feedback and complaints received, trends identified, and the status of accountability mechanisms within the JEOP Food and Cash Assistance Program. It involves documenting key insights, challenges, and successes to ensure transparency and facilitate informed decision-making by program management. The reports serve as a valuable resource for ongoing program improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Educational Requirements.
Educational Level Required:
- MA or BA Degree in Economics, Development studies, M&E, Disaster Management, Rural Development and relates social science fields
- Technical Training qualifications required on Compliance and accountability at food resource set up
- Other: Analysis/assessment related to the compliance related areas
Experience:
- 3-5 Years of experience in food Assistance programs, disaster mitigation and development related fields with a minimum of 2 years’ experience on a similar position.
- Experience in project planning and implementation.
- Skilled in data analytics, tool development, and monitoring & evaluation of projects.
- Experienced in training or teaching adults and working with multi-cultural groups.
