Job Description:
The Group Audit (GA) function takes a proactive, risk-based and independent approach to assist the Bank’s business and infrastructure functions to identify key control weaknesses. You will be joining the global GA Private Banking Application & Digitalisation Technology team reporting into the global Principal Audit Manager responsible for covering the Bank’s Technology and Information Security risks and controls across Private Banking and the Bank’s Digitalisation activities covering emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotic process automation and cloud computing.
Responsibilities
- An IT Auditor within the Private Bank Technology and Digitalization audit team reports both to the local Country Head (direct reporting line) and to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) of Technology area (functional reporting line) who has global responsibility.
- The candidate will deliver day-to-day IT audit work and will contribute to the delivery of audits (including risk assessment profiles and continuous monitoring) in line with Deutsche Bank Group Audit Methodology. This includes execution and documentation of IT audit fieldwork in line with the agreed audit approach and budget, including documenting activity/process flows, testing of key controls (including IT application management, automated controls, IT general control) to determine whether they are adequately designed and are operating effectively.
- Focusing on the technology risks, the candidate will collaborate with other divisional/teams to guarantee an integrated approach during audit engagement covering core banking activities, business process outsourcing, regulatory requirements, external vendors and complex project implementation.
- The candidate will be required to discuss exceptions identified to enable drafting of high-quality impactful audit findings for review by PAM and by Country Head and, whenever required by Group Audit Methodology, to facilitate issue tracking and validate closure of issues.
- The candidate will be required to proactively develop and maintain professional working relationships with audit colleagues, internal stakeholders and respective support areas. The candidate will work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally.
Skills
- The candidate should have demonstrable audit and IT knowledge and experience (minimum three years) and an understanding of Information Security, IT processes and risks.
- The candidate will be able to work independently with limited oversight, learn complex concepts quickly, build strong relationships, be resilient under pressure, working collaboratively with business audit teams and audit teams globally.
- The candidate should be independent in judgment and with unquestionable personal integrity and ethic. Able to challenge and be challenged whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism.
- The candidate should be conversant with key principles of an internal control system, risk-based auditing and should clearly understand the relationship between IT risks and underlying business risk.
- The candidate should have excellent written/verbal communication skills (also in English language) and be able to communicate effectively at all levels within Group Audit and with senior clients.
