Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing the production and blending of high-quality feed to Tyson Mills and Customers at the lowest cost possible while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This requires keeping a daily ingredient inventory for Tyson and FDA Compliance and managing team members in Production Housekeeping and Preventative Maintenance. Other responsibilities include coordinating production schedules ingredient ordering, preventive maintenance, parts ordering and keeping within tolerances on parts and ingredient inventories. This position is responsible to utilize continuous improvement tools and methods to maximize tons per week manufactured. This position must lead the safety culture provide adequate training and effectively communicate with the team to address any opportunities within the mill and delivery This position is also responsible to take the lead on customer concerns related to feed quality feed deliveries and customer compliance. This position must manage the operation according to budget development capital plans including the preparation of capital requests. This position must keep in close communication with their manager drive key metric improvements and perform other responsibilities as the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related Agriculture Business or equivalent management experience. Must have 4 plus years' experience in feed mill and or Feed ingredient Blending management. Must have a valid driver s license and have a good driving record in accordance with Tyson Fleet Safety Manual. Some travel required but minimal. Proficient computer skills such as generating letters spreadsheets or creating queries.
