About This Position

The Senior Manager, HRIS leads our Workday platform strategy and harnesses AI and analytics to deliver trusted data, intuitive dashboards, and scalable processes that power smart people decisions. This leader owns Workday configuration and optimization across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting; advances people analytics and self‑service reporting; and drives cross‑functional initiatives that enhance our Talent Acquisition processes and overall HR operating model.

What You'Ll Do

  • Champion the use of AI within people data and systems to improve insights and automation. 
  • Lead configuration and optimization across Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting; and Security), aligning capabilities to business goals and user experience standards. 
  • Plan and execute Workday releases, upgrades, and feature rollouts; change management, and enablement for HR, managers, and employees. 
  • Maintain security design, access, and data governance in partnership with Security and IT. 
  • Build reporting capabilities, leveraging Workday Report Writer, Discovery Boards, People Analytics/Prism and downstream BI (e.g., Power BI). 
  • Develop executive-ready dashboards and narratives that inform decisions across Engagement, Hiring, Attrition, Training & Development, Benefits, and team member lifecycle. 
  • Deliver timely, accurate insights and recommendations; partner with Finance, IT, and People leaders to translate analytics into action. 
  • Lead initiatives to streamline recruiting workflows in Workday, improve req-to-offer cycle time, and elevate candidate and recruiter experiences. 
  • Evaluate and integrate third‑party recruiting automation and orchestration tools that complement Workday; AI‑driven matching (e.g., Paradox, HiredScore). 
  • Own data quality, audits, and reconciliation processes, including payroll/timekeeping reporting and configuration, plus program audits (e.g., 401(k) and workers’ compensation). 
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, govern configurations, and ensure compliance with internal SOX controls and applicable privacy regulations. 
  • Support cyclical HR events (e.g., open enrollment) with system readiness, testing, communications, and issue management. 
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of HRIS analysts; set clear goals, build career paths, and foster a culture of ownership, quality, and service. 
  • Establish intake, prioritization, and sprint planning to balance strategic projects with operational requests; define SLAs and continuously improve delivery. 

What You'Ll Need

  • 8+ years of progressive experience across HRIS/People Analytics, including significant Workday ownership; 3+ years leading HRIS analysts or similar technical HR teams. 
  • Advanced proficiency with Workday Reporting (calculated fields, matrix/advanced reports, dashboards/Discovery Boards) and strong understanding of Workday configuration across core modules. 
  • Expertise building executive-ready dashboards and translating complex data into clear insights and actions across engagement, hiring, attrition, DEI, training & development, benefits, and lifecycle reporting. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; understanding of SQL and database design. 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills; comfortable presenting to executives. 

Preferred

  • Workday certifications (HCM, Reporting, Security, Talent/Recruiting, Prism/People Analytics). 
  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) 
  • Hands-on experience improving processes within Workday  
  • Familiarity with change management, enablement, and enterprise release governance.
