Major Responsibilities

  • Define and implement sales-out strategies and quality account plans that grow revenue base and market share
  • Create and implement the strategic plan to drive sales, profitability, and market share
  • Build relationships with dealers, customers and industry partners. Ensure successful execution of multiple events focused on training, development and engagement of these constituents
  • Reviews and analyse current sales process to develop and deploy a consistent and measurable sales process that meets the business unit’s needs
  • Lead market research and competitive analyses by monitoring and analysing trends of key industry competitors; recommend adjusted plans and actions based on this market intelligence
  • Provide management oversight to ensure that project management is functioning in the best interests of Donaldson and the customer 
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to help continuously improve product offerings
  • Develops and utilizes Key Performance Indicators to measure sales role and distribution partner effectiveness and take appropriate counter measures in-line with delivering annual targets
  • Assess, mentor and grow the team to drive revenue growth and market share

Key Selection Criteria

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, including 3+ years in significant leadership roles, in reputable MNC
  • Professional Level English communication capabilities
  • Industrial capital equipment background is preferred, e.g. compressor, transformer, filtration, ventilation and etc.
  • Knowledge of structured selling process
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, to provide clear direction and to hold people accountable
  • Highly developed analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong leader and have a natural ability to motivate and inspire people
  • Ability to work with the team at all levels, in an open office setting, within a highly collaborative environment
  • An intense drive to “win,” combined with sound business perspective
  • A persuasive communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
  • High level of confidence, maturity and integrity
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; MBA preferred.
