About The Role
We have a part-time (32 hours) opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you’ll partner with our Chief People and Strategy Officer (CPSO) and their senior leadership team to drive the smooth running of the People & Strategy business units.
You’ll play a key role in supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic priorities — managing calendars and inboxes, coordinating administration, and providing support across internal projects to help deliver business outcomes.
- Represent the CPSO ensuring professionalism and independent decision-making for smooth workflow.
- Manage complex calendars and emails proactively.
- Draft and send communications.
- Ensure consistency in formatting of documents to a high standard of presentation.
- Plan and manage travel itineraries and accommodation.
- Handle meeting logistics, including agendas, papers, minutes, action points, and booking meeting rooms.
- Process and approve expenses and leave requests.
- Assisting with preparation of agendas and papers for meetings, including relevant management governance forums, ensuring these are submitted in a timely manner. Taking accurate minutes and action points.
- Organising events and catering for the business unit and enterprise-wide workshops.
- Provide support to the wider EA team to cover absences and leave.
About You:
This is a fast paced and varied role, but with your solid executive experience of providing support at a senior level, you'll take it in your stride and exceed at developing the role and making it your own.
- Professional with experience (minimum 5 years) providing support at Executive level or senior administration roles in large organisations.
- Superior organisational, prioritisation and follow-up skills
- Proficient calendar management and Microsoft suite skills including Co Pilot
- Demonstrable ability to handle confidential information with discretion and care.
- Demonstrable ability to manage stakeholders with varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines, always upholding the reputation and organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, senior executives and government representatives, coupled with the ability to exercise initiative with discretion.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, finance industries desirable.
