APPLICATION ANALYST II - CERNER CORE SECURITY

The Application Analyst supporting Cerner core security is responsible for the design, build, documentation, testing and troubleshooting of Core Security Positions, Preferences, Privileges, Applications Groups, and Tasks. The seasoned professional we seek will have expert level knowledge of Cerner Core Security Tools and Design. Responsibilities also include providing support for Cerner Health Information Management (HIM) module and other applications to include 3M coding and reimbursement systems, Optum360 Computer Assisted Coding, and document imaging. The analyst works closely with IT and HIM management, other application analysts and departmental staff in building stable and secure integrated system solutions, providing ongoing maintenance and support of these systems, and working as part of a dedicated group supporting the Cerner Millennium Suite and other integrated applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Relevant advanced degree or certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Information Systems supporting applications in a health care setting.
• Experience utilizing the following: Location Build, ESH Build/Maintenance using core event manager, iAccess with active directory integration, Core Code Builder, Core Bedrock functions, and Core Security including HNAUser, app groups, and task access.
• Expertise in building positions, position security, PrivMaint, PrefMaint, and Preference Manager.
• Advanced knowledge of HNAUser for new employee onboarding, account maintenance, and managing not on-staff physicians.
• Understanding of ESH relationship to XR.
• Skilled in HIM support including computer assisted coding systems.
• Ability to manage and monitor Cerner Millennium using Olympus and Lights On Network.
• Proven experience with basic CCL queries and PowerInsight.
• Ability to manage, monitor and research Cerner package requests.
• Experience with domain strategy and domain synchronization.
• Ability to collaborate with Clinical Analysts on current and future state workflows and documentation.
• General working knowledge of all Cerner Millennium solutions, especially PowerChart.
• Ability to manage resolution of project issues, escalating them to appropriate decision making staff and change control management team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledgeable of current application information technologies and trends in health care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
