Account Manager - CAS&PESummary:
• Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the China sales strategy for the in PE (Polymer, composite and electronic) Business. He/she will work closely with Marketing, Technology, Product Management, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams as necessary to execute the sales strategy.• Manage PE customers in China and help teach them how our products work. Identify the right distributor for the China PE Market for future growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop appropriate sales strategies and tactics to win in the targeted markets
- Drive growth at or above AOP target levels and accountability for all of the assigned accounts
- Work with ADE and R&D team to simulate the processing of customers and find the solution for the un-met needs of market. Lead the commercialization of NPI products
- Effectively collect market intelligence and feed it back into the marketing team
- Develop and roll out key metrics, dashboards, and relevant data that will need to be collected, make full use of the salesforce, ensure visit reports, contacts and other key data are recorded
- Working closely with distributors to identify the end-users’ unmet needs and develop new business opportunity pipeline
- Pro-actively solve business problems that prevent us from achieving our sales targets
Ensure the Sales team is in compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the region/country as well as with the Momentive internal policy
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor degree or higher with Chemistry/Chemical equivalent background
- Over 5 yrs sales or marketing/Technical experience in coating/polymer/composite and electronic market.
- Strong technical background in coating/polymer industry
- English proficiency in written and oral
- Able to travel frequently
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Good in value selling
- Be able to provide solution to customers with close collaboration with marketing and ADE team.
- Good account management, project management, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Strong sense of ownership and high level of passion
- Self-Motivated
