About The Role
We are looking for a doer to support and assist in the strategy, management, and optimisation of Netball Australia’s digital platforms, driving fan engagement, commercial outcomes, and high-performance delivery across key events and competitions.This is an opportunity to work at Netball Australia HQ (Fitzroy) on a casual basis over the next few months, reporting to our Digital Product Manager.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the management and maintenance of Netball Australia digital platforms including, netball.com.au, Netball Live App, Netball Network – SSN Clubs and Member Organisations and Netball World Cup
- Engage with Member Organisations and SSN Club Stakeholders to understand the business objectives across the sport and implement strategies that support digital product ambitions of the sport.
- Work with the broader Brand team to execute fan engagement and partner requirements to achieve organisation commercial, broadcast and data objectives.
- Liaise with third parties across web development, digital and advertising.
- Deliver competition and live match digital requirements.
- Reporting on digital product performance across the sport and identifying opportunities for growth and investment.
- Manage and deploy strategies to maintain and improve the high performance of digital products.
- Contribute to key event planning: Netball World Cup.
About You
Key Attributes, Skills And Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing digital projects and delivering results across multiple platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and communication capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with website management (CMS) and digital analytics tools including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console.
- Practical knowledge of SEO best practices to optimise visibility and engagement.
- Ability to analyse performance data, identify opportunities, and implement improvement strategies.
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient with strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- High level of integrity, dependability, and results-orientation.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, user experience, and customer service.

The role is based at Netball’s Head Office in Fitzroy/Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung country where you will be spoilt for choice on great coffee spots! Given the unique nature of the sports industry, and the domestic & global reach of our organisation, travelling and working outside of Netball HQ and traditional office hours may be required. Our teams work flexibly, and we encourage the successful applicant to discuss flexible working options with their new Manager.
