About The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Logistics Officer to join our new Brisbane-based team. This role will derectly report into the Group Warehouse Manager.
The Warehouse Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods within our small warehouse. This role involves managing inventory levels, optimising space utilisation, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. The Warehouse Logistics Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. Additionally, there will be requirements for facilitating deliveries to our field personnel and regional warehouses as well as supporting the processing of scrap meters.
What You’ll Be Doing
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through effective documentation and inventory control systems.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are accurate and aligned with organisational needs.
- Keeping the inventory management system up to date for receipts, sales and stocktake adjustments
Warehouse Operations:
- Undergo the daily activities including receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and forklift operation.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and layout optimisation.
- Ensure cleanliness of warehouse.
- Collect and process scrap meters for sale.
- Assist Asset Supervisor with ad-hoc requirements and deliveries.
Delivery And Distribution:
- Transport goods and tooling from the warehouse to field locations as needed.
- Coordinate delivery schedules
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials.
- Deliveries to Greater Brisbane area
Safety And Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
What You’Ll Need
Must-Have
- Forklift Licence
- Full Driver’s Licence
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role
- Strong time management and reliability
- A safety-first mindset and good attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and other reporting systems
- Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and trends and solve problems

- Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical role with some time on the road
- Plumbing experience is a plus but not required.
