Financial Planning & Analysis Manager – Turning Data Into Decisions
Insight + Strategy + Business Impact
Do you believe that data tells a story — and that the right insights can shape the future of a company? At Whitsons Culinary Group, we’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to transform complex data into clear, actionable strategies that drive growth and operational excellence.
In this pivotal role, you’ll collect, analyze, and interpret data from across our business, translating numbers into insights that inform decisions at every level. If you’re passionate about problem-solving, uncovering trends, and partnering with leaders to shape the company’s direction, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’Ll Do
As the FP&A Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our decision-making process — helping to guide strategy, improve performance, and fuel innovation across the organization. Your work will directly influence business outcomes by turning raw data into powerful narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Lead data collection and preparation — gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze business performance — identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities through visualizations, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
- Partner with business leaders — build strong, collaborative relationships with teams across departments, anticipating stakeholder needs and delivering timely, data-driven insights.
- Develop predictive models — forecast sales, assess customer behavior, and support strategic planning using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Design impactful dashboards and reports — create dynamic tools in Power BI (or similar platforms) to track KPIs, automate recurring reports, and deliver insights that inform daily decisions.
- Communicate insights clearly — translate complex analyses into compelling presentations and actionable recommendations that influence strategic choices.
- Support continuous improvement — proactively identify ways to enhance processes, improve reporting accuracy, and increase the value of analytics to the business.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and clarity — someone who’s as comfortable deep in the data as they are presenting insights to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in a business analyst, financial analyst, or similar data-driven role.
- Proven expertise in Power BI — including dashboard design, data modeling, and writing DAX formulas.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas) and a passion for leveraging it to solve business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large, complex datasets and distill findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to present complex data simply and persuasively.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a collaborative approach.
- Experience in the banking or corporate sector.
- Familiarity with Alteryx or other data automation tools.
- Competitive base salary + performance bonus potential
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
- Generous paid time off and holidays
- 401(k) with company match
- Opportunities for professional growth and development
