Department Information

At QC FUJIFILM Life Sciences Biotechnologies Denmark (FLBD), we are over 285 team members supporting manufacturing both onsite and as a Contract Laboratory Organization (CLO).

We test Drug Substance, Drug Product, Finished Goods, and all raw materials used in our onsite manufacturing processes, along with Stability samples.

Our QC department consists of multiple testing teams and four support teams, including QC Sample Control

The QC Sample Control team is closely connected to our production departments as we collect samples in the manufacturing area and work closely with our QC testing departments for samples to be tested. Other core tasks in the QC Sample Control are handling shipment of samples, initiating stability studies, handle reference standards and assay controls, generating CoAs, deviations, CAPA and updating SOPs.

In the QC Sample Control team, you will have engaged and hard-working colleagues, and a success criterion for filling this position is a can-do attitude, desire to take responsibility and ownership and eagerness to solve a broad range of tasks. The position is a mix of routine and ad hoc challenges, and we work in an ever-changing world, so the right candidate must thrive within and out of the “comfort zone”. We seek a new team member focusing on Drug Substance activities, project leadership, investigations, documentation, and customer interactions.

The work tasks include coordination, collaboration and communication and presupposes a strong GMP mindset

FUJIFILM Life Sciences Biotechnologies Denmark (FLBD) is an international CDMO with locations in the US, UK, and Denmark. Our Hillerød site employs over 1,800 professionals engaged in biotech and pharmaceutical production.

Main tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage tasks concerning Drug Substance, Drug Product, Finished Goods, and Stability samples
• Engage in internal customer meetings
• Represent QC in manufacturing meetings, collaborating with other QC departments
• Business Process Owner for our Laboratory system LIMS
• Generate Certificates of Analysis (CoA)
• Collaborate with stakeholders and QA to create and maintain GMP documents
• Initiate deviations and assist in investigations as the Subject Matter Expert for QC Sample Control
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions

Qualifications And Education

• Minimum of 5+ years in cGMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Extensive experience in handling GMP deviations, change controls, and documentation
• Academic degree or equivalent education
• Self-driven, systematic, and dedicated to improving processes while working with current systems
• Flexible, open to change, and interested in developing within the team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, requiring stakeholder engagement
• Fluency in English is necessary for our international operations
• Adjust to new tasks as our site grows and develops
