Site Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join us at Telia.

Our team is at the forefront of designing, scaling, and automating network solutions, and we are looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join us. What You’Ll Do:

As a Site Reliability Engineer within our DC and Enterprise Network team, you will hold a network architect level grade, indicating the crucial role you'll play in shaping the future of our network solutions. You will have the autonomy and resources to drive innovation and efficiency across our network, ensuring that we maintain the highest levels of reliability and performance.

• Design and Implement Network Solutions: You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient network solutions, ensuring that our network infrastructure can meet the demands of today and the future.
• Automation and Efficiency: Drive automation efforts to eliminate repetitive tasks, improve operational efficiency, and enhance network reliability.
• Roadmap Planning: Collaborate in the development of platform and product roadmaps, shaping the strategic direction of our network solutions.
• Process and Tool Definition: Define and improve tools, service delivery mechanisms, and incident management processes that underpin network reliability.
• Platform Management: Manage platform metrics, including tenant, service, and resource utilization, and lead capacity planning efforts to ensure optimal performance and resource allocation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Your role is highly independent, allowing you to work collaboratively with teams across the organization, or autonomously, as the situation demands.
• Effective Communication: Expect to present and explain your ideas to the management team, demonstrating the value of your contributions to the company's network reliability and performance.

What will help you thrive in this role:

• Deep knowledge of network architecture and design.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Experience with capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing network challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Monthly salary range for this position – 4000-6500 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
