About The Role

Join our dynamic SEO & Content Strategy and CRO team as a Senior Content Strategist, where you'll spearhead the creation of innovative content programs that propel business growth and amplify our brand's impact across diverse web platforms. As a strategic leader reporting to the Manager, SEO & Content Strategy & CRO, you'll harness data-driven customer insights to take our digital content strategy to new heights. What You’Ll Do Here:

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop English content strategy and programs for multiple brands, under Intact Financial Institution designed to enhance brand presence, boost audience engagement, and drive business growth. 
  • Provide strategic direction based on data-driven insights and report on content KPIs, to the rest of the marketing funnel to inform future content opportunities for the business.  
  • Lead stakeholder presentations, communicating key performance results, user-centric insights, and opportunities to executive audiences.  

Content Creation Oversight

  • Collaborate with SEO, CRO, Product, Brand and Social Media teams to oversee the execution of integrated SEO-driven content strategies through effective content creation. 
  • Assume full responsibility for managing the blog content calendar and developing key copy for acquisition pages and pages with significant impact on SEO traffic. Ensure content is strategically positioned and timely executed to maximize engagement and drive results.  
  • Guide writers in using proprietary data, expert insights, and professional commentary to strengthen our brand's authority.  
  • Provide editorial oversight and leadership to internal and external copywriters and content agencies, fostering a culture of excellence in content strategy execution.  
  • Develop and maintain network of reliable copywriting and translation freelancers and/or agencies.  
  • Ensure content is accessible and compliant with legal and underwriting standards
  • Enhance content strategy processes, methodologies, and governance structures to ensure cohesive and effective content execution.  

Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for innovation, refining AI-generated content use cases, and adopting approved AI tools to enhance content strategies and accelerate production.  
  • Promote innovation by implementing content-related AI generative use cases to scale content strategies, production efficiencies, and accelerate speed-to-market.  
  • Actively stay informed about the latest SEO, AI Search and content trends, ensuring content strategy practice remains at the forefront of the industry best practices.  

 What you bring to the table:

  • 7-to-10-years experience in digital content writing and demand generation and SEO optimization. 
  • Education in communications, linguistics, or marketing. 
  • Insurance or financial industry experience is a plus. 
  • Experience with large organizations is a plus. 
  • Positive team player with strong communication skills.  
  • Results-oriented with analytical skills. 
  • Proficient in English writing and editing.
  • Proven record of having delivered and scaled digital content programs  
  • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving revenue through content strategies. 
  • Records of having mentored and trained editors, writers, content professionals 
  • Experience with tools such as Site Improve, Brightedge, SEMRush etc. 
  • Strong collaboration and attention to detail. 
  • Creative, curious, and innovative.  
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
