Position Title: Office and Operations Administrator
Summary:
We’re seeking a proactive and organised Office and Operations Administrator to support the smooth running of our Melbourne office. Reporting to the IT and Operations Lead, this full-time permanent role is the first point of contact for calls, emails, and visitors, while providing essential administrative and operational support across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reception duties and general enquiries
- Coordinate office supplies, mail, couriers, and maintenance
- Support membership processes and database updates
- Assist with internal events, catering, and staff initiatives
- Liaise with IT support and oversee equipment servicing
- Contribute to onboarding/offboarding and WHS activities
- Drive continuous improvement in office operations
- Support cross-functional projects and operational enhancements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ office experience
- Competent computer skills with proficiency in common Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel
- Strong organisational skills
- Self-initiative and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Desirable:
- Experience in iMIS database searches and data entry
- Experience in customer service in a not-for-profit organisation
- Experience in office administration
