Sr Specialist Data/AI Engineering

Job Description:

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering & Analytics:

• Design, develop, and optimize robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models using SQL, Snowflake (Data Share, Streamlit), and Azure cloud services. 
• Implement and maintain complex stored procedures and ensure high data quality, security, and compliance. 
• Architect and deploy enterprise-grade PowerBI dashboards and reports, utilizing advanced DAX, PowerBI Service, and various connectors for actionable business insights. 

• Power Platform Solutions:

• Develop and implement business solutions using Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop), Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), and Copilot Studio. 
• Automate repetitive business tasks and workflows by integrating with diverse data sources and APIs. 
• Build, train, and deploy AI-driven experiences and chatbots with Copilot Studio to streamline user interactions and provide intelligent support. 
• Create custom business applications using Power Apps tailored to organizational requirements. 

• Collaboration & Support:

• Partner with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support for data and Power Platform solutions. 
• Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to drive solution adoption and knowledge sharing.

• Overall Experience: 
• 10+ years 

Primary / Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, and data analytics. 
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and stored procedures. 
• Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake (including Data Share and Streamlit). 
• Proven track record in building and deploying PowerBI dashboards, reports, and advanced DAX formulas. 
• Strong understanding of process automation, custom app development, and AI integration within the Microsoft Power Platform. 
• Strong familiarity with PowerBI Service, diverse data connectors, and enterprise reporting capabilities. 
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services for data storage, transformation, and analytics. 
• Experience architecting and optimizing complex data models for business intelligence. 
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. 
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities. 
• Experience with other visualization platforms (Tableau, Qlik, etc.) is a plus. 
• Exposure to data governance, master data management, and cloud security best practices. 
• Familiarity with Python, Streamlit app development, or other modern scripting languages. 
• Certifications in Azure Data Engineering, PowerBI, or Snowflake. 
• Education Qualification: BE, BTech, MCA 

Secondary / Desired Skills:

• Certifications (if any): 
• Azure AI/ML certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate), Python, AI/ML modeling, and relevant cloud and front-end framework certifications.
