The Columbia Program Office (CPO) supports various US Government entities. CPO specializes in IT solutions, network connectivity, cyber analysis, and solutions architectures for the IC and the DOD
AT&T is seeking an experienced telecommunications technician to work across CPO programs. To install, maintain, and repair telecommunications and electromechanical equipment, perform tests and experiments on prototype systems, and ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Troubleshooting, Repair, and Adjustment: Diagnose and repair functional problems with test equipment using diagnostic tools, blueprints, and repair manuals. Modify equipment based on engineering directions and work on analog, digital, video, and/or logic circuits.
• Testing and Experimentation: Conduct tests and experiments in support of the production of prototype electromechanical systems, and design and test equipment as needed.
• Technical Consultation and Problem Solving: Provide technical expertise to remedy equipment problems and assist in the design and implementation of new systems, working from established schematics and diagrams.
• Installation and Setup: Install and configure telecommunications and electromechanical equipment, ensuring proper setup and operation.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all diagnostics, repair, and testing activities, generating reports to document performance and issues.
Required Clearance:
TS/SCI with poly (#tssci) (#polygraph)
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma, Qualified Installer in the areas of telecommunications and datacenter technologies. 3-5 Years of telecommunications installation experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to construct and maintain fiber connectivity and network element connectivity.
- Knowledge of classified datacenter operations and security boundary compliance.
- Familiarity with ICD 705 standards.
- Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure such as HVAC, UPS, Power a plus.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ATAMs and logistics processing.
