Senior Software Quality Engineer - Manual Tester - Pune

About the Role:
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will contribute significantly to the reliability and performance of our software products. Your role will involve more complex testing activities, a higher level of defect analysis, and active participation in enhancing our QA methodologies. You will be pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:
• Design, execute, and document complex test cases.
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis of defects.
• Develop and enhance test plans and test cases.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing.
• Automate repetitive test cases where applicable.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining QA tools.

• Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans for complex systems, including financial transactions, or API integrations.

using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.

• Validate API functionality, performance, and security across microservices and third-party integrations.
• Utilize AI-powered QA tools for test case generation, defect prediction, and intelligent reporting
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing.• Mentor junior QA team members.• Participate in code reviews from a QA perspective.• Propose and drive improvements in QA processes and standards.Skills:• Advanced Test Case Execution: Comprehensive testing capabilities.• Root Cause Analysis: Thorough investigation of defects.• Test Automation: Familiarity with tools like Selenium.
• Experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and understanding of JSON, XML, and authentication protocols.

Experience in Manual Testing - 5+ Years

• Hands-on experience with AI tools in QA (e.g., Testim, Mabl, or GitHub Copilot)
• Performance Testing: Understanding performance testing tools and methods.
• Collaboration: Effective interaction with cross-functional teams.• Documentation: Advanced skills in preparing test documentation.• Bug Tracking: Detailed and efficient use of tracking systems.• Continuous Improvement: Proactive in enhancing QA processes.• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in primary technical job family and knowledge of related technical job families; has worked with a range of technologies• Has knowledge of best practices and aware of the competition and market differentiators
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems.• Solves complex technical problems; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information• Works independently, receives minimal guidance; may lead projects or may have accountability for on-going activities• Impacts a range project activities within own team and other related teams; acts as a resource for colleagues
