We are looking for an experienced Estate Services Team Leader to join us! This is a key role, overseeing a team of Operatives to ensure we are providing a safe and clean space for our tenants to enjoy.

Duties Include:
- Supervise small teams of Operatives providing the communal block cleaning and rubbish removal from land
- Carry out audits and check work standards
- Deal with low level disciplinary issues within the teams
- Ensure work, including health and safety compliance tasks, is planned, completed and recorded accurately
- Provide mentoring and training in the form of tool box talks refresher training and new starter inductions
- Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are applied, and that risk assessments and checks are undertaken to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of all equipment, tools and vans is completed and within the time scales required
Requirements
- Experience of supervising, directing and supporting teams of people.
- The ability to be an effective team player, good organisational skills, good problem-solving skills and
- Experience of managing your own workload.
- Numeracy and English literacy skills up to level 2 or equivalent
- Experience of using IT Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet for work purposes
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment methodology
- Experience using hand tools and power operated equipment such as vacuums, mops, sack carts and industrial buffers in a safe manner
- A current UK car driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle for work
A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
