Field Specialist III - Well Services

The Role

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Field Specialist to deliver superior technical services across our diverse product portfolio including Coiled Tubing, Thru Tubing, Slickline, and Wireline operations. This role serves as the key client interface at well sites, utilizing standard techniques and procedures while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client interface at well sites, managing service delivery and coordinating Weatherford personnel on location.
• Perform technical field services using established procedures across Coiled Tubing, Thru Tubing, Slickline, and Wireline operations.
• Test, operate, and maintain specialized tools and equipment according to work instructions and safety procedures.
• Participate in daily operations meetings, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and maintain the highest QHSSE standards at all times.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to recommend optimized services and solutions for clients.
• Complete comprehensive job planning, preparation, execution, and documentation including reports and service tickets.
• Contribute to equipment failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis reports to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable condition while managing inventory and supplies effectively.
• 5-8 years of Oil & Gas industry experience with hands-on field operations background.
• High School diploma required; Technical Certificate from accredited Technical/Vocational School preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics with rig experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Coiled Tubing, Thru Tubing, Slickline, and Wireline operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and ability to work with complex technical equipment.
• Strong communication skills and service orientation with commitment to client satisfaction.
• Physical capability to perform demanding field work and available for 24-hour on-call response.
• Ability to work independently while following established policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
