Position Title: Client Partner - Spain
Business Unit: Corporate & Legal Services (“CLS”)
Reporting to: Country Lead Spain Position
Location: Madrid (Hybrid)
The Client Partner has responsibility for growing our relationship and revenue with clients, business partners and other intermediaries for the Spanish CLS businesses. This is a business-critical, market-facing role and your primary objective will be driving revenue growth from these key relationships. Working closely with the wider CLS commercial team in EMEA, you will also leverage the support of teams across client delivery, GRM, sales and marketing to maximise client and business partner engagement and overall success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in close alignment with Business Unit Leaders in Spain and other commercial team members in CLS EMEA to develop and execute commercial plans for these jurisdictions.
- Be accountable for individual annual revenue growth targets as agreed upon with Business Unit leaders.
- Drive new pipeline opportunities through proposal/RfP stage and the full onboarding process and ensure smooth handover to servicing teams
- Attend pitches, presentations, agreed-upon conferences and events and set out in commercial plans and, in cooperation with CSC Sales and Marketing support drafting of technical articles and other marketing materials for these markets.
- Document all activities in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
- Provide support to local relationship managers in their management of client relationships, leveraging your technical and legal expertise and in some cases to act as senior point of contact for clients
- Take on client directorship roles for Spanish clients as agreed upon with Business Unit leaders in Spain
- Together with CLS leadership in Spain, develop client/business partner development strategies for each relationship to determine revenue protection/growth goals and identify product diversification opportunities.
- Be the primary driver of growing a commercial mindset amongst the servicing colleagues in Spain
- Liaise with the Office of GRM to coordinate client interaction and consult on shared plans for any of these key clients who are part of the GRM program.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders and other business units and shared services executives.
- Experience of delivering exceptional client service.
- Have in-depth knowledge of our business
- Proven experience in creating and effectively executing business strategies and plans.
- Has several pipeline conversions examples, i.e. helping to turn a prospective client into an existing client
- Existing network of business partners with proven experience of delivering pipeline from this network.
- Bilingual in Spanish and High level of English (C1 or C2)
