As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning of dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware.
• Handle and store kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff by providing clean tools, plates, and workspaces on time.
• Dispose of waste responsibly, following hotel hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries in storage areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or shortages to the stewarding supervisor.
• Follow HACCP and hotel safety standards at all times.
• Uphold the luxury hotel’s standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen support (luxury hotel experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
