Responsible for the daily operation of Casino Beverage. Leads the Casino Beverage team to meet its financial and service goals. Is responsible for the strategic vision, and execution of all beverage related responsibilities. Develops and maintains all beverage menus and pricing
Works closely with Marketing to create and advertise new specialty drinks for social media. Responsible for maintaining prompt, friendly, efficient service to all customers. Works to accomplish departmental goals and objectives
- Our ideal candidate:
- • College is a plus. At least 5 years of food and beverage and casino operations experience and/or training or equivalent combination of same.
- • At least 5 years supervisory experience is required.
- • Must possess broad knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations, with strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
- • Knowledge of wines, beer, and mixology required.
- • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, leadership, communication, team-building and problem-solving skills are required.
- • Moderate computer knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- • Basic point of sale -- proficient in Basic Point of Sale systems.
- • Inventory Control procedures.
- • Must have good analytical skills.
- • Must be able to have a flexible schedule and work weekends and holidays.
About the role:
• Ensures the establishment and administration of accurate procedures and policies involving all operating activities including compliance with Rincon gaming rules and regulations.
• Ensure periodical reviews of menus and update in accordance with current trends, market, product changes and availability.
• Oversees beverage product cost and inventory control methods and procedures.
• Makes procedural recommendations and ensures enforcement of existing policy.
• Leads the development of methods and procedures whereby bar costs and supplies can be requisitioned and charged to each individual area.
• Ensure the Casino Beverage team maintains hours and costs relating to staffing as required by business levels.
• Works with Internal Audit to ensure regulatory compliance concerns are mitigated and addressed.
• Prepares annual budget and business plans.
• Monitors appearance of all facilities and service areas and follows-up to ensure cleanliness standards are at the highest level.
• Acts as a role model to other team members and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same
• Develop and update standardized procedures for the department team members.
• Maintains and develops casino beverage policies and procedures.
• Oversee the setup, beverage sales and breakdown at all special events.
• Interview, hire, commend, discipline and/or terminate beverage team members as required in compliance with established use of progressive discipline.
• Resolve guest complaints and service deficiencies as required.
• Maintains and develops good relationships with vendors.
• Fosters mentorship and development of Beverage team leaders and hourly team members. Monitors legal compliance with federal, state gaming and ABC laws.

- • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including all casino beverage service areas.
- • Must be able to work independently as well as in team formats.
- • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts.
- • Must be able to perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
- • Must be able to conduct conversations with customers and employees and speak distinctly and persuasively with others.
- • Must have the ability to create written and financial reports.
- • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
- • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Depending on experience, pay starts at $80,000 annually.
