Job Purpose
Design, secure, and maintain Exoscale’s Linux-based platform. Build automation and tooling, improve developer experience with self-service systems, and contribute to platform architecture. Ensure scalability, availability, and security, while supporting operations through reviews and on-call duties.

Role Insights:

• Design and maintain the core Linux-based platform ecosystem.
• Develop and manage PKI, secrets management, and security systems.
• Contribute to platform tooling, automation, and orchestration development.
• Enhance the developer experience (DX) by delivering self-service systems and pipelines.
• Play a key role in the architecture and design of Exoscale’s platform systems.
• Improve processes to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
• Participate in code and change reviews to uphold high development standards.
• Join the on-call rotation after completing the training period.

What Makes You Unique:

• Proficient in Golang (a must).
• Experienced with Linux, including networking and security filtering.
• Skilled in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Comfortable working with KVM virtualization.
• Knowledgeable in configuration management and large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong communicator in English, both written and spoken.
