Job Description

  • Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • • Issue and comply with equipment, department and room maintenance schedules. Use of CMMS system (Maximo) to execute and complete work orders.
  • • Work on a variety of plant and equipment within different functions across the KSP site to include:
  • Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification of mechanical problems. Working collaboratively with 
  • other disciplines to problem solve.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
  • Minor building repairs as required to include such things as ceiling tiles, painting damaged walls, tap washers etc.
  • Provide mechanical support for the API, Commercial Filling and Packaging Operation at KSP  • Involved in 6s and operational excellence (OE) continuous improvement for engineering areas/activities • Ensure that all equipment safety testing such as pressure/pressure relief is kept current and certified.  • Provide operator training and technical support where necessary. • Provide and keep up to date SOP’s for the Engineering department• Service and respond to maintenance requests while maintaining compliance with equipment validation • As part of a team, take part in the installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ) of new plant and equipment. Support project teams in FAT/ SAT as required for new equipment.• Create SOPs, internal service reports and machine setting sheets for new equipment and update existing as required.• Issue permits to Jazz and contractor staff and provide contractor supervision when required.
  • Carries out their work in a way that will not adversely affect their own, or others’, health, safety and security or the environment and reports any issues immediately including near misses or incidents• Compliance in all aspects of GMP, health and safety and environmental standards• Updates and reads risk assessments in Mirashare.• Support investigations (safety/ quality) as required by providing SME input.• Use of CMMS system (Maximo) to execute and complete work orders.
