Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) team is recruiting for a Manager, Project Operations & Supplier Management position withing the Supplier Management & Operational Excellence (SMOx) team.
PECS is committed to setting the standard on Patient Experience (Px), building more personalized, seamless, and supportive experiences to help patients start and stay on treatments across the portfolio.
The Manager, Project Operations & Supplier Management, will support the Associate Director, Project Operations & Supplier Management in the coordination of Solution Team project deliverables and core PECS process requirements to ensure efficient operations across the portfolio of JJIM patient support programs. You will be responsible for operational elements of those programs including, but not limited to, control document development and maintenance, invoice review and approval, audit remediation pull through, and KPI management. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supplier Management / Process Monitoring Responsibilities
- Measure and analyse key performance metrics related to supplier performance and drive corrective action plans as required. Utilize data to identify quality measure gaps & opportunities. Deliver insights that drive program performance, operational efficiencies, and enhancements.
- Support supplier-managed field escalation processes, ensuring cases are being resolved within SLA requirements and work to identify trends for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead supplier audit remediation process for assigned suppliers, ensuring proper identification of root cause, development of effective corrective actions and timely completion of remediation by suppliers.
- Lead suppler deviation remediation for assigned suppliers, ensuring proper identification of root cause and well a development and execution of short- and long-term corrective actions
- Support Program / Supplier Governance through Compliance Governance Committee meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR/CGC)
- Contribute to contract negotiation elements based on experience with supplier metrics and performance, in order to help enhance future controls.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to drive best practices through all programs and processes
- Proactively contribute to a team culture that values continuous improvement by seeking new opportunities to optimize existing processes, leverage technology-enabled solutions/automations, and build recommendations for improvement throughout the patient support program lifecycle.
Program Responsibilities
- Support implementation of new programs and program enhancements by creating or updated supplier control documentation consistent with J&J requirements and program operational needs.
- Manage Program Rules Document for assigned programs, ensuring accurate and up to date documentation through program lifecycle.
- Drive accurate and timely approval of invoices for assigned programs, ensuring contract terms are met, invoices are accurate and within planned budget.
Education And Work Experience:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of healthcare business experience (e.g., market access experience, operations, supply chain, sales or marketing) is required
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and deliverables preferred
- Budget management experience is preferred
- Experience managing commercial patient access programs (e.g., HUB, Coupon) preferred
- Basic proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, project plans, etc.) preferred
- Proven track record of working effectively in a complex organizational structure.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate across teams to drive business processes and objectives with key functional partners (IT, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Offer Development, Procurement, Contracting, Commercial Excellence, Finance and Program Owners)
- This position is based in Titusville, NJ (preferred) or Horsham, PA and may require up to 10% of domestic travel.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
