Senior Consultant, Security (Microsoft Security Suite)

Role And Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft security advisory and consulting engagements with customers
• Engage customers with effective communication to build lasting relationships
• Plan and design Microsoft security products and features
• Develop reference architectures, technical requirements, and configurations to support implementation
• Execute Microsoft security products and feature proof-of-concepts and pilots
• Implement Microsoft security products and features in development, tests, and production environments
• Provide industry perspectives, best practices, and security thought leadership to customers
• Develop Microsoft security strategy, recommendations, and roadmap for customers
• Prepare and present recommendations to key stakeholders and senior leadership 
• Identify and document issues and risks to projects and develop recommendations for remediation
• Develop project plans and weekly status reports 
• Assist with project management activities such as managing project team hours, expenses, tasks, and meetings

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• 5+ years of security and risk industry experience
• 3+ years of security consulting experience
• 3+ years of Microsoft security advisory and professional services experience

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of O365 and cloud technology, security, principles and practices 
• Lead meetings with clients in order to discover existing business processes, advise on best-fit technologies, gather requirements, and drive to client satisfaction 
• Ability to coordinate with program manager to develop execution plans
• Strong problem-solving skills 
• Intermediate knowledge of process and workflow design and management 
• Knowledge of quality management, tools and techniques 
• Create and maintain support documentation 
• Document operational processes and problem resolutions 
• Process and workflow design 

Additional Notes

• Position requires consistent travel
• This job requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; candidates must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
