Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Record to Report 
This role is an integral part of the Accounting & Reporting spoke team. The primary responsibility of the role is to apply expertise in the General Accounting & Cost Accounting area to oversee operation excellence, process improvements and Stakeholder Engagements through operation governance, simplification, standardization, and automation across all supported units in APAC.  This role reports directly into the R2R Global Tower Lead for sponsorship and project alignment, will continually drive recommendations to improve Accounting & Reporting process efficiency and effectiveness and will copilot the evolution into analysis and insights
Responsibilities
•    Lead a large R2R team and handle month end, quarter end year-end – preparation, be responsible for smooth execution & ensure books are closed on time.
•    Ensure all month end activities are completed within agreed time and of the highest quality and ensure metrics are met as per agreed KPIs / SLAs targets as applicable.
•    Handle aligned process (as applicable) - General Accounting, Fixed assets, Intercompany, Reporting, Balance account reconciliations.
•    Ensure client happiness and successful external & internal audits
•    Structured Planning & Prioritization. Detailed planning, aligning regional financial goals with global strategies. This involves setting clear priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
•    Regular Review Cycles: Periodic and quarterly reviews with team and relevant parties to track progress, analyze variances, and adjust plans accordingly.
•    Leverage financial systems, dashboards and AI platforms for real-time data access, reporting and collaborations.
•    Maintain open channels with stakeholders through scheduled meetings, updates, and reports. Work closely with cross function leads to gather insights, validate assumptions, and support decision-making.
•    In-depth knowledge of General Accounting best practices, processes, and internal controls 
•    Experience with structuring and managing projects/project management skills is a plus
•    Partner with financial operations in RTR  to accomplish smooth period close.
•    Close communication and follow up with stakeholders and partners.
•    Ability to leverage Functional Experts for system related changes.
•    Co-work with GPOs to implementation of improved process models

• Qualifications
• Minimum qualifications
• •    Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• •    CPA/MBA highly desired
• •    Master’s degree in Accounting
• Preferred qualifications 
• •    Relevant work experience in General Ledger
• •    Very good written and verbal communication skills
• •    Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS excel
• •    Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
