This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own Birdman’s U.S. brand agenda and build a leading health & wellness brand from the ground up.
As Senior Brand Marketing Manager – U.S., you will take full ownership of strategy, positioning, P&L, consumer insights, experiential marketing, PR, partnerships, product innovation, launches, and brand building. You’ll be the voice of Birdman in the U.S., responsible for writing the next chapter of a category-defining brand’s growth story.

You understand the U.S. consumer deeply, ideally from having lived and worked in the market, and you bring experience in shaping brands that win in retail, social, and experiential spaces. You inspire partners and agencies to deliver at the highest level, while staying relentlessly focused on performance, impact, and growth. Above all, you bring a growth mindset, resilience, and the ambition to build Birdman into a leading health & wellness brand in the U.S. from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own Birdman’s brand strategy and positioning for the U.S., ensuring cultural relevance and competitive differentiation.
- Manage brand P&L and budgets, balancing investment with ROI and growth targets.
- Lead product innovation and go-to-market for the U.S., shaping pipeline needs and adapting launches to the local market.
- Drive experiential marketing, activations, PR, and influencer partnerships to build awareness and engagement.
- Identify, negotiate, and activate co-branding and strategic partnerships with retailers and wellness/lifestyle brands.
- Leverage consumer and market insights (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, brand tracking, consumer research) to guide brand and innovation decisions.
- Ensure social and digital marketing alignment, partnering with Performance Marketing and Social teams so that brand campaigns flow seamlessly across retail, ecommerce, and social channels.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Performance Marketing, and HQ to deliver an integrated growth strategy.
- Lead agencies and partners directly, with the opportunity to build a U.S.-based brand/experiential team over time.
Requirements
🚀 Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience owning brand strategy and execution in the U.S. (6–10 years in brand marketing).
- Track record of delivering measurable, metrics-driven results (market share growth, revenue impact, successful launches).
- Hands-on P&L and brand budget management.
- Strong experience in U.S. retail/shopper marketing, ideally across key accounts (Costco, Sprouts, Whole Foods, etc.).
- Native or fully fluent English (C2), ideally with professional experience living and working in the U.S.
- Proficiency in analytics & insights (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, brand tracking tools).
- Ability to lead agencies, inspire cross-functional partners, and eventually build a small U.S. team.
- Strong data literacy: able to analyze business cases, build ROI models, and interpret dashboards (Excel/Sheets, BI tools).
🌟 Nice-To-Have Requirements
- Experience working cross-border between Mexico and the U.S. (or other international HQ/market structures).
- Experience in wellness, natural/organic, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands.
- Proven success in co-branding or retail partnerships (brand collaborations, retailer exclusives, joint activations).
- DTC/ecommerce brand marketing experience in addition to retail.
- Spanish proficiency to collaborate more closely with HQ and regional teams.
- Preferred location: Guadalajara, Mexico (HQ), with frequent travel to the U.S. U.S.-based candidates with strong U.S. expertise will also be considered.
