The newly established Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences will be an interdisciplinary powerhouse of innovation and collaboration to lead integrated solutions to the needs of the communities we serve locally and globally. UQ offers one of the widest ranges of health and behavioural sciences programs of any Australian university, and the ambition for this new Faculty will be to will be to leverage its unified suite of esteemed schools, institutes and centres to unlock opportunities within UQ and with external partners
About This Opportunity
At The University of Queensland, we’re proud to make world-class medical education accessible across our regions. The Darling Downs and South West Learning Community is one of three Learning Communities within the Rural Clinical School, and from 2026 it will deliver all four years of the UQ MD program within this footprint. It is also home to the Darling Downs – South West Medical Pathways, creating new opportunities for students to train and remain in our rural and regional communities.
As part of this vision, we are seeking a passionate educator to help shape the earliest stages of our students’ medical journey. In this role, you will organise, coordinate and facilitate Team-Based Learning (TBL) tutorials for MD1 students at the Toowoomba Regional Clinical Unit. More than delivering tutorials, you will be creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages collaboration, curiosity, and confidence—helping students lay the strongest possible foundation for their future in medicine.

This is a part-time continuing position at a Level B/C to commensurate to your experience.
