Role – Engineering Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in engineering management, project management, and task management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on development experience either in in front-end (web development) or backend technologies (Node.js and JavaScript) with 6-7 years of technical expertise and 2-3 years of experience in team management, ideally from Tier II engineering colleges. A background in product-oriented organizations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a development team, ensuring efficient task management, project delivery, and alignment with overall business goals.
• Lead technical projects, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to timelines.
• Provide hands-on guidance and expertise in front-end or backend development, focusing on scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement product features.
• Drive team growth by mentoring and fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive team culture.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, delivering presentations and updates as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on development in front-end technologies (web development) or backend (Node.js and JavaScript).
• Team Management: 2-3 years of experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably from Tier II engineering institutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical foundation with a proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in product-based organizations.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
