This will be an onsite position.
This position will provide critical programmatic and technical support to the Integrated Combat System (ICS) program, assisting the PEO IWS X Business Director and Software Development Director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of executive briefings, supporting communication with fleet leadership, senior acquisition officials, and external partners
- Manage legal and contractual documentation, ensuring smooth execution and resolution of complex issues
- Facilitate internal and external engagements on re-architecture and system integration plans to align stakeholders and ensure program cohesion
- Serve as lead analyst on performer cost estimates, informing funding allocations and resource decisions
- Develop and maintain program artifacts and build plans, translating strategy into actionable development steps
- Coordinate and validate cost estimation methodologies, including drafting CARD and RDP inputs
- Lead updates for the Software Pathway Value Assessment and respond to program status requests
- Drive agile coordination, including ceremonies, SME inputs, action tracking, and leadership sync meetings
- Support strategic discussions on metrics, using tools like Jira to measure progress and inform leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience providing project and program analysis experience to the military and/or Federal contracts
- Master’s degree in Business or a related technical field OR a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related technical field and 15+ years of experience providing project and program analysis experience to the military and/or Federal contracts
- Experience analyzing program tasks, progress status, annotating risks and dependencies, and reporting concerns to leadership
- Experience with developing individual project schedules for area of technical responsibility leads
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the design, operation, and maintenance of Navy ships
- Experience providing technical and programmatic support to combat systems on in-service ships
- Familiarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures related to systems engineering processes and the acquisition and modernization of Navy combat systems
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance
- An Interim Secret security clearance will be required to start
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $106,900.00-$177,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
