Senior Project Manager - Deepwater
This opportunity will be for 3 years in duration and is in Mumbai, India.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee a large, specialized, PMC, deepwater project for hook-up of subsea wells. This role will be responsible for developing and overseeing project plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities. Producing integrated solutions to strategic issues and presenting recommendations to customer. Solutions are derived from knowledge gained through past experiences and consultation with internal and external resources.
Must have completed a deepwater development project from start to finish and spent time supporting the field to implement what was engineered. Current or prior experience leading a team of 100+.
Responsibilities
Provides direction and project management to ensure project completion in accordance with the Project Management Consultant (PMC) contract obligations.
Defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
Plans, organizes, manages, and controls the PMC project with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley.
PMC Project manager will exhibit leadership skills necessary to achieve project goals.
Defines and selects team required to deliver scope of work. Submits resumes for qualified team members required to deliver scope of work and issues PAFs for approval.
Effectively leads project team comprised of multi‐discipline/ multi‐location members.
Sets clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule, productivity and budget targets.
Oversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps.
Implements communication tools and process to ensure all team members are informed about project status and key performance indicators.
Demonstrates the ability to build support for ideas, presenting alternatives and recommendations persuasively.
Ensures Worley methodologies, processes, tools and systems are used throughout the project and compliance requirements are met/satisfied.
Applies knowledge of all aspects of a project (engineering, procurement, quality control, etc.) to oversee the successful execution of the project plan.
Ensures overall system performance, interface management, coordination and expediting to meet project objectives.
Ensures minimum impact on the environment requirement of all regulatory bodies.
Demonstrated understanding of engineering project delivery workflow and coordination.
Experience with procurement/subcontracting and on-site construction support.
Demonstrated PM experience leading large-scale PMC deepwater well hook-up projects with high-risk elements; Responsible for managing field/ deep water development project comprising of reviewing others’ work for detailed engineering, procurement, construction, load-out, transportation, project management, project controls, construction management, installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of facilities.
University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Typically, 20+ years’ experience, including 12+ years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience. The PM will ensure timely delivery, cost control, quality compliance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination from review of detailed design through commissioning.
