The schedule is flexible, but must be available for meetings with the client between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Reno, NV time zone). The client will provide advance notice for any scheduled meetings.

Job Description
We’re seeking a talented Video Editor to join our creative team in crafting compelling content across multiple platforms. This role offers an exciting blend of both short-form and long-form video editing, where you’ll work on everything from quick-hitting social media content to in-depth YouTube productions and podcast vlogs. You’ll receive clear creative direction and example outputs for each project, allowing you to maintain consistent quality while exercising creative freedom in your editing approach. This position offers flexible scheduling and remote work arrangements, making it perfect for editors who value work-life balance while maintaining professional growth.

Create engaging long-form video content for YouTube channels and podcast productions.
Edit dynamic short-form video content for social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
Transform raw footage into polished final products following provided creative direction.
Maintain consistent style and quality across all video deliverables.
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
Collaborate with the team through clear communication about project progress.
Track time and maintain project documentation.
Apply creative techniques to enhance video content while adhering to brand guidelines.

Requirements

Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrated experience with CapCut and InShot
2-3 years of professional video editing experience
Portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form video editing capabilities (THIS IS A MUST)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Professional communication skills in English
Reliable internet connection and appropriate work setup for remote collaboration
Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
Experience with both basic and advanced editing techniques
Adaptability to different editing styles and project requirements
