IBM Z and LinuxONE practice focuses on mainframe hardware and software including z/OS, z/VM and Linux. Our consultants perform infrastructure services for clients online or onsite, offering deep technical expertise, valuable tools and successful methodologies.
Z (mainframe) skills are either around the hardware (the actual machines) or the software (applications that run on mainframe machines)
IBM Mainframe subject matter expert with skills required to support clients in technical Z engagements by executing on project requirements, providing support & guidance on Z best practices and be responsible for developing and delivering IBM solution design, architecture, and implementation of IBM Z solutions - skills need to be specific to (but not limited to) z/OS high availability and Copy Services technology including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror and GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex ) on z/OS, DR procedures, Sysplex (SMS, RMM, HSM) as well as hands-on skills on: Networking, Storage, Security, z/VM & zSecurity, RACF, Sysplex, DB2 plex, z/VM system programming & Linux on z Systems administration.
