  • Manage end-to-end IT vendor lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, contract negotiations, SLA/KPI definition, and performance management.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships to drive service excellence and cost optimization.
  • Conduct periodic vendor evaluations, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Lead IT vendor-driven projects and transitions, ensuring timely execution within budget and defined scope.
  • Drive seamless knowledge transfer, process stabilization, and operational readiness during transitions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vendor services with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor vendor service delivery against SLAs and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Analyze vendor performance metrics, compliance reports, and risk indicators to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination between IT, finance, compliance, and business units.
  • Ensure IT vendor compliance with organizational policies, regulatory frameworks, and information security standards.
  • Perform regular audits, risk analysis, and due diligence to mitigate vendor-related risks.
  • Develop contingency strategies to minimize business disruption in case of vendor failures.
  • Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams and vendor relationship managers.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and innovative vendor engagement models.
  • Support IT governance, reporting, and executive-level updates on vendor portfolio performance.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong expertise in IT Vendor Management Frameworks and governance.
  • Proven experience in Project Planning, Transition Management, and Operations Oversight.
  • Skilled in vendor negotiations, SLA/KPI management, and contract compliance.
  • Ability to perform risk assessments, audits, and regulatory compliance checks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 12–18+ years of experience in IT vendor management, project/transition management, and risk/audit management.
  • Certifications in PMP, ITIL, or Vendor Management Frameworks preferred.
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Technology industries is an added advantage.
