Job Description

Project is T&M based Team Extension to join existing team located in Germany. The scope is to gather and prepare data for internal clients requesting simulation data for Autonomous Vehicles test scenarios.

Tasks:

• Data selection and extraction – retrieving images and video clips from internal datasets using tools such as Nvidia Data Scout, based on text/image queries and distribution requirements (e.g., day/night, rural/urban, road/motorway).
• Data augmentation and scaling – applying upsampling techniques (time-based, GPS-based, H3 cell-based) to increase dataset volume and enrich data coverage.
• Curation management – tracking progress in Corner Case Management (CCM), creating new corner cases with defined requirements (e.g., target volume, specific sign, reference images).
• Dataset preparation – structuring curated results into CSV files, integrating outputs from Data Scout/Databricks, and preparing datasets for downstream processes.
• Quality control and data pipeline management – initiating Relevance Check requests with external teams and managing data queuing for labeling and further processing.

Qualifications

• Strong self-organization and documentation skills, maintaining independent notes and progress tracking to complement limited CCM visibility.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying, analysis, and dataset preparation.
• Experienced with Databricks, including leveraging the built-in AI assistant for data exploration and workflow optimization.
• Skilled in Python for ad-hoc scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
• Familiar with Cursor AI assistant to enhance productivity and streamline data-related tasks.
