The Wholesale Junior Account Executive (“Jr. AE”) supports the sales efforts of a team of Business Development Managers (BDM’s) and Client Development Managers (CDE’s).  The roles support efforts will focus 80% on BDE’s and 20% on CDE’s.  The Jr. AE is responsible for assisting with new customer activations, business development and the overall growth of their team’s wholesale and principal agent loan volume.  This position also provides support to Liberty’s clients and supports the business unit’s efforts to meet and exceed assigned weekly, monthly and annual goals. 

Job Functions And Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

  • Primary support liaison responsible for assisting all service related and loan level action items from the sales team and/or their clients
  • Monitor and oversee inbound and outbound communications for Lender Support phone and e-mail inboxes while ensuring published SLA’s are met
  • Act as a primary relationship backup while BDM’s are unavailable (attending a conference, conducting a training or on PTO) and as a secondary relationship backup while CDE’s are on PTO
  • Assist in the follow-up and completion of incomplete loans which are submitted to Intake
  • Provide client assistance and support with questions pertaining to the LOS (PORTAL, QuantumReverse and Reverse Vision) - credentials, navigation, loan creation and loan status
  • Counterparty Approval/Recertification - Support approval of new clients and recertifications of existing clients.  Send application for approval and follow up on outstanding items until client is approved or recertified .
  • Conduct ad-hoc Loan Officer training & education as needed 
  • Generate new case assignments, assist in the validation, cancellation, and transferring of cases to other lenders
  • Participate in new client launch calls, staff additions as requested
  • Support BDMs and clients with loan-level issues, when internal follow up and clarification is needed
  • Client website training, navigation and trouble shooting
  • Submit help desk tickets as needed to support system functionality
  • Maintain account ownership up to date in HELOS, PORTAL, QuantumReverse, ReverseVision, Surge and any other system utilized by sales
  • XML system uploads on 1st appraisals only
  • Point of contact for all Servicing related issues to ensure SLAs are met and final resolution
  • Support business unit with select prospecting efforts as instructed by direct manager
  • Ad hoc sales/administration tasks as assigned by direct manager

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Minimum of 3 -5 years of mortgage sales experience or experience in a related field
  • Strong customer service background and experience building interpersonal relationships
  • Proficiency in engaging with salespeople and supporting associates
  • Proficiency in mortgage lending operational and service strategies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to plan and organize projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Must possess good judgment, leadership and business skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to be a creative, flexible and innovative team player

Training / Licensing Requirements:

  • Must pass the Company’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.

The salary range for this position is expected to be $49,100 – $60,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for monthly incentive based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
