We’re seeking a strategic, values-driven leader to head the Legal, Assurance and Integrity Division as General Counsel & Chief Legal, Assurance and Integrity Officer (GCCLAIO). This pivotal role partners closely with the Vice President of Operations, overseeing the institution’s legal, risk, assurance and integrity functions.

You’ll shape legal, risk, compliance and assurance frameworks that safeguard UOW’s accreditation and reputation, lead engagement with government, accreditation bodies and regulators, and guide UOW’s strategic evolution into research commercialisation and global partnerships. Your leadership will expand access to world-class education, drive sustainable growth and influence the future of learning, research and community impact. 

We’re seeking a pragmatic, politically astute leader with deep experience in higher education, or other regulated environments. Proven board-level engagement, exceptional stakeholder management with government and accreditation bodies is essential – as is a genuine passion for driving social impact through education and community partnerships.
