Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer Engineer to join our dynamic Florida-based team working on cutting-edge technology solutions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that serve local, state, and federal Department of Transportation agencies across the country and others. This role involves close collaboration with our Florida-based team. Work arrangements may include remote, hybrid, or on-site depending on project requirements and business needs.

Role Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions and systems
• Collaborating with our Florida team on projects supporting FDOT operations and infrastructure
• Build robust applications that help improve efficiency and safety
• Work on billable client projects with direct revenue impact
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Contribute to solutions that make a real difference in public transportation infrastructure

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science from an accredited university
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in .NET and C# development
• Proficiency with Angular and TypeScript for front-end development
• Solid knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control
• Legal authorization to work in the United States 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on projects in the transportation or government sector
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
• Understanding of agile development methodologies
• Prior collaboration with government or public sector clients

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP,  401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.  We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $90.000 - $110.000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
