The Risk and Assurance Team at The Guinness Partnership play a critical role in the success of the organisation, ensuring we have good quality data across all our systems that support Customer Services and Asset Management.

We are recruiting for a Data Assurance Coordinator to join our Risk and Assurance Team in Oldham on a full-time, permanent basis. 

As a Data Assurance Coordinator, you will support the Data Assurance Partner to record data risks, issues, controls and actions arising from change and transformation projects. You will work with Business Change, transformation teams and data owners to ensure these are actioned. You will ensure that data assurance activities are completed correctly and supported by robust process documentation, minimising any risk to data quality. The role will involve the coordination of data cleansing logs, following up on actions with data owners through to completion.  In addition, you will be required to carry out reconciliations between systems, working with data owners to resolve issues. 

We currently operate a hybrid working style, where you will spend 3 days per week working in the Oldham office and the other 2 days working from home.

You’Ll Be Able To Demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Able to work effectively within a team and with wider stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Sound understanding of data quality principles and ability to apply them in order to create controls to mitigate risks to data. 
  • Able to work methodically, following agreed procedures, and accurately process data and information. 
  • Able to document processes and guidance. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills. 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and ability to present data and information for a range of audiences.
  • Able to prioritise between conflicting deadlines and timescales.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours. 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to Level 2 (C+ or 9-4 GCSE or equivalent) or higher.
