Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will have a great track record of customer service, project management skills, an innate aptitude for agility, and familiarity with enterprise hardware.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure high Azure Cloud fleet health and achieve “nodes in service” targets supporting our customers
- Deploy new supply chain capabilities and processes to support Cloud growth
- Lead execution of material quality purge activities within the datacenter environment
- Support strategic programs via project management to scale the cloud spares support model
- Perform quality investigations as required and develop solutions to mitigate hardware quality impacts
- Drive improvements by analyzing telemetry from various data sources and implementing RCA’s
- Promote continuous improvement by incorporating feedback from internal/external customers
- Identify and drive implementation of mitigation solutions including playbooks for operational teams
- Participate in serviceability discussions and support hardware quality improvements
- Conduct Rhythm of Business meetings to present topics to stakeholders and leadership
- Demonstrated Program Management experience
- Experience with enterprise products including Networking, GPU, Compute and Storage technologies
- Leadership skillset with ability to interface with customers, partners and executive leadership
- Demonstrates strategic thinking, quantitative and analytical skills, team leadership, and collaboration
- Excellent problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in accordance with high level objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a great teammate.
- Data driven with a focus on business results for assignments
- Lean experience as well as change agent mentality
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
- 1+ year of Project Management experience within Supply Chain
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be requiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
- Continuous Improvement certification, Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent.
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or equivalent.
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci Certification).
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
- OR equivalent experience.
Technical Solution Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
