We are seeking a dedicated Project Development Manager to support our Sherwin-Williams Business in Valencia. The main purpose of this role is to enable the growth of sales primarily, but not limited, in the region, in line with the regional business development plan. The successful applicant will be responsible to identify, prioritize and support the sales force to secure new built construction projects within civil and industrial infrastructure, such as stadiums, high rise buildings, malls, hospitals, schools, data centers, semi-conductor facilities, EV Battery plants, Pharma etc. He/she will have a strong focus on all SW coating technologies (fireproofing, flooring, anti-corrosion, insulative coatings, etc.) to provide added value solutions to customers. 

  • Increase SW brand visibility among main owners, engineers, and GCs to become a trusted coatings partner
  • Select target projects at early stages using tools, databases, and customer information in alignment with segment functions
  • Secure the best possible specification for selected projects by developing winning strategies with regional and segment teams
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers and influencers such as engineering, QA/QC, subcontract, and construction teams
  • Map subcontractor value chains for target projects and share insights with regional sales managers
  • Align project strategies with regional and segment objectives to maximize success
  • Maintain close collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure specification and brand preference
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and strengthen positioning
  • Proficiency in using lead generation tools to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Experience in the coatings business and/or adjacent industries
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems for tracking and managing customer interactions
  • Proven ability to work with owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors on new civil/industrial projects
  • Strong skill in building relationships with stakeholders and key decision makers within customer organizations
  • Background in the industrial construction business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English (French is a plus)
  • Strengths in indirect leadership, planning, teamwork, problem solving, building trust, and business savvy.
