We’re now looking for a Technical Account Manager to support and drive our private marketplace deals globally and digital advertising strategies through expert account and stakeholder management.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in an Ad Ops or equivalent operational role at a publisher/ media owner or in a client facing, sales or agency role who is keen to learn the technical requirements.

About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager within our UK Advertising team, you’ll play a key role in managing and optimising private marketplace (PMP) deals and programmatic advertising across our digital estate. Reporting to the Programmatic Development Lead and based at our Kings Place office in London, you’ll act as a strategic and technical partner to internal and external stakeholders, along with liaising and collaborating with our global teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Grow revenue by leveraging your programmatic contacts or product and technical expertise.
  • Setting up and managing PMP deals and marketplaces, liaising with sales, advertisers, agencies, Supply Side Platforms and Demand Side Platforms.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and optimising campaign performance
  • Supporting digital pitch responses and strategic commercial initiatives
  • Monitoring and improving PMP and marketplace health, including reporting and post-campaign analysis
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors and SSPs to ensure optimal performance and adoption of new technologies
  • Delivering technical support and recommendations for campaign trafficking and delivery
  • Sharing knowledge and documentation to support consistency and scalability across the digital optimisation team
About You

We’re looking for a technically proficient and commercially minded individual with a passion for programmatic advertising. You’ll be a confident communicator, collaborative partner and problem solver, able to support our evolving digital strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and platforms (e.g. Google Ad Manager, DMPs, brand safety tools) or keen to develop this knowledge.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship management experience.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.  

We operate in a hybrid environment working 3 days a week from our offices in Kings Cross and 2 days a week remotely.
