Software Engineer, AI Agents, Infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in software design and development in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in developing infrastructure or tools for test automation, defining metrics and building monitoring systems for product excellence.
• Experience in mobile app or user experience.
• Ability in managing projects.

In this role, you will be ensuring the overall quality and user experience of Google Pixel and related devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Taiwan, United States, Shanghai, and London. You will work on infrastructure and tooling development, integration, field and carrier testing, pre-certification testing, quality analysis, etc. You will have excellent system design skills that consider human and technological aspects of a problem. You will be comfortable designing and developing full-stack tools and infrastructure from scratch, while also leveraging existing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work on software engineering projects and design and develop solutions that solve or address business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, design and implement automated infrastructures and toolings to scale the product testing and development.
• Conduct analysis on functionalities. Participate in product design discussion with stakeholders for product excellence, using data-motivated approach to communicate and influence product design, testability, and product deployment with quality user experience.
• Create or update existing test tools and infrastructure to increase test effectiveness and team work efficiency.
• Work in a team with different cultures, tasks, and backgrounds.
