Material Handler, FD - 1st Shift

JOB SUMMARY: The responsibility of this position is to ensure accurate storage and reprocessing of aged product for customer credits. This position requires strict attention to detail and the ability to problem solve. Processed debit memos that must mature before returning for credit are stored in a bin system and will be pulled on monthly cycles at the mature date. Re processed debit memos will be scanned to the proper bin location with returnable items for credit based on company SOP in a neat and organized manner. The reprocessing of these debit memos will be stored into the WMS system so that a RA can be applied for so product can be returned for credit. Product must be sorted and stored based on company SOP in a neat and organized manner. This position is responsible for maintaining an orderly and safe workspace. The position requires proficient use of computerized Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners. 

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Accurately scan to assigned bin locations with great attention to detail. 
• Accurately pull and reprocess items based on monthly assigned list.
• Verify product counts and accuracy of inventory when reprocessing product.
• Accurately pull and finalize monthly pull list.
• Assist in the fulfillment of product orders daily. 
• Assist other affiliated DC Departments when needed.
• Performs other related tasks including but not limited to performing housekeeping tasks required to keep the work area safe, clean and organized.
• Assist in moving of product using heavy equipment along with loading/unloading of deliveries.

Requirements

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in order fulfillment
• Experience with RF Scanners
• Must be computer literate in MS Office software
• Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops, uses hands and lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented and able to follow directions
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to function, with a positive attitude, in a high-performance work team environment
• Willingness to work extra hours and weekends when needed.
• Must have clean background and pass drug screen
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resource
• Achieve and maintain productivity and error requirements
• Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality record
