Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in operations or business management, and vendor management.
  • 7 years of experience using analytics or applying project management tools to address business issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing vendor operations and working with globally managed service providers and Crowdsourcing.
  • Experience setting and driving vendor strategy, process improvement, contracting and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working with dashboards and data.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and stakeholder issues or requirements, driving pragmatic decisions and actions to deliver operational improvement.
  • Ability to demonstrate tenacious problem-solving and project management skills by defining projects, executing within timelines, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to successfully work and influence across multiple levels of the organization and regions.

About The Job

As a GenAI Vendor Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence to support human reviews for GenAI, adversarial red teaming, novel testing, and other emerging products. You will support the day-to-day vendor operations and effectively manage vendor performance with transparent metrics, data-driven decisions and industry leading vendor management techniques. You are an expert in operational excellence who possesses the ability to work globally and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. You are also capable of identifying, prioritizing and implementing process and automation opportunities to continuously improve and scale operations.At Google we work hard to earn our users’ trust every day. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive planning and oversee delivery of day-to-day service operations, managing key metrics (e.g. SLAs, Quality, AHT) and business reporting to ensure goals are met; lead vendor selection, forecasting, resource, BCP, contract management, and budget planning
  • Troubleshoot problems, and foster a solutions-oriented mindset to maximize vendor performance; partner effectively with global cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Lead weekly business reviews, develop insights reporting, and prepare data-driven communications for all audiences.
  • Support time-sensitive projects from concept to launch by defining clear objectives, dependencies, risks, owners and follow-through mechanisms.
  • Apply problem-solving and project management skills to navigate ambiguity and provide solutions from an operational perspective.
