We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our secondhand clothing and accessories store in Long Beach, CA. This role supports the Store Manager in leading the team, maintaining high customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations, including sales floor replenishment at 120% of items sold. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be adaptable, and have a genuine passion for fashion, sustainability, and people.
Primary Responsabilities
- Team Leadership: Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, coaching, and motivating the sales team; act as manager when needed.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer experiences, resolve escalations, and maintain a welcoming store environment.
- Store Operations: Assist with opening/closing, cash handling, daily reporting, and operational excellence.
- Sales & Inventory: Monitor sales performance, oversee replenishment, manage inventory flow, and ensure a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing store.
- Merchandising: Support displays, product rotation, and presentation to drive sales.
- Administration: Assist with schedules, attendance, performance reports, and enforcement of company policies and safety standards.
Competitive pay based on experience: $42,000-$55,000 Annual

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Two or more years of retail leadership experience; apparel or resale store experience preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and help teach others.
- Proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong organizational skills with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 30 lbs. for extended periods.
