The Supplier Quality Engineer Sr is responsible for conducting Quality Management Systems audits and supplier performance evaluations at supplier locations to determine capability, as well as providing guidance and recommendations on Sourcing decisions and supplier selection criteria for Supplier Qualifications, specifically in the electronics field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, quality control, and supplier management, with a focus on maintaining high standards for product performance and compliance. The person will also lead, coach, guide and evaluate supplied material investigations and corrective action efforts. The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer will engage cross-functionally to identify part and supplier risk for proactive mitigation activities. The individual must be a self-starting problem solver who will use their analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues. Strong communication skills are required to ensure suppliers understand requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present findings. Ability to coordinate cross-functionally and summarize briefing / findings at an executive leadership level will be necessary for success.

Works independently and coordinates cross-functionally to accomplish assigned tasks and builds working relationships internally and externally. The individual will assist in training Supplier Quality Engineers in quality methodologies and tools.
